Terms

Terms of use

The rules for using this website, what its content is and is not, and the law that governs it.

3700 Saviers Rd · Oxnard

Effective August 2026

The short version.

Plain English first. The numbered text below is the full version, and it is the one that governs — but this is the part most people need.

01

Accepting these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and every page on it. By browsing the site, or by sending us a request through it, you accept them. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the site — that is the whole of the remedy we ask for.

We may revise these terms as the site changes. The version published here, effective August 2026, is the one that applies to you now, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised version.

02

This site is education, not dental advice

Everything on this website — the service pages, the FAQ, the descriptions of procedures — is general information about dentistry. It is published so you can understand what a treatment involves and what questions to ask. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not dental or medical advice about your situation, which no one can give without examining you.

Reading this website, submitting the appointment request form, or calling the office does not create a dentist–patient relationship. That relationship begins when you are seen in the office, examined, and accepted for care.

Never delay seeking care, and never disregard advice a dentist or physician has given you, because of something you read here. Outcomes differ from person to person, and a treatment described on this site may not be right for you.

03

Appointment requests

The form on this site sends a request, not a booking. You have an appointment when our office has confirmed a date and time with you directly — not before. We will follow up using the phone number or email address you provide, so please check them before you send.

Do not send protected health information through the form. Our privacy policy explains what to leave out, and why the website is the wrong channel for it.

04

Content and intellectual property

The text, layout, photography, illustration, and design of this website are owned by Oxnard Dental Office or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. All rights are reserved.

You are welcome to read the site, print a page for your own reference, and share a link to it anywhere you like. Beyond that, you may not copy, republish, sell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize any part of it without our written permission.

05

How you may not use this site

You agree not to:

  • Republish, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit material from this site
  • Use the site in any way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s access to it
  • Scrape, harvest, data-mine, or systematically extract its content
  • Send spam, advertising, or automated submissions through its forms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its host, or any connected system
  • Use the site in any way that breaks the law, or that could harm the practice, our patients, or anyone else

This site has no user accounts, logins, or passwords, and visitors cannot post content to it. Nothing here asks you to grant us a licence over anything you write.

07

No warranties

This website is provided “as is” and “as available”, with all faults. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the site or its content — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We work to keep this information current, but dentistry changes, and so do our services, our hours, and the plans we participate in. Call the office to confirm anything you intend to rely on.

08

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, neither Oxnard Dental Office nor its owners, dentists, staff, or contractors will be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — this website, whether the claim is brought in contract, tort, or otherwise, and even if we were told such damages were possible.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits our responsibility for the professional care we provide to patients in the office. This section is about a website. It has no bearing on your treatment.

09

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oxnard Dental Office, together with its owners, dentists, and staff, from any claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of your misuse of this website or your breach of these terms.

10

General terms

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision is severed and the rest remains in force.

Assignment

We may assign or transfer these terms — for instance, if the practice changes ownership. You may not assign yours.

No waiver

If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, we have not given it up on any other.

Entire agreement

These terms, with the notices published on this site, are the whole agreement between you and the practice about your use of this website. They do not affect any separate agreement you sign as a patient — treatment consent, financial policy, or a HIPAA acknowledgment.

11

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Any dispute arising out of these terms, or out of your use of this website, will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ventura County, California — the county in which Oxnard and this practice sit — and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
